The more well-versed employees are in the Care Card program and the work of Family & Children’s Services, the more likely they will ask every single customer to buy a Care Card. Once shoppers know they can receive a 10-20% discount on their purchase, they will likely buy a Care Card AND more merchandise.
Use provided promo materials.
Care Card merchant packets are provided at no cost to all merchants and include posters, window clings and table tents. Yard signs are also available. Utilize these materials in visible, high-traffic areas so that customers know what Care Card is and how they can save money in your store.
Email your customers.
Share your excitement about Care Card to your customers through email prior to and during the Care Card shopping event. Include Care Card artwork (download above), photos of current merchandise and details about the savings they'll receive when they use a Care Card at your store.
Host an event.
Invite your customers to a special, Care Card-specific event at your store or restaurant - such as a brunch, a trunk show, extended hours or a pre-sale. Be sure to email us at email@example.com with all the details. We will include it in Care Card special events email marketing and share on social media.
